PROJECT A: COOLIES HAT |
Creating a COOLIES HAT would be a perfect project for MATH objectives:
Measurement 48" of rope/string, geometry measuring for the radius of the hat and cutting and overlapping at a 30 degree acute angle, as well as cutting and measuring the straw to fit the hat's radius. Prediction can also be involved with estimating how many pieces of straw it will take to fill the top of the hat and determining what the variables are.
