PROJECT A: DISCUSSION, LOSS AND EMPATHY

This can be a very moving and emotional lesson for the students.  Sharing an experience of someone they have lost in their lives.  It can be a relative, friend, pet, or a loved one they have never seen.  Tears will be shed and empathy freely given and understood.

Procedure:

  • Read WHERE IS GRANDPA? to the class.
  • Discussion followed.
  • Students were asked to think of a loved one they have lost.
  • Write at least 7 things they remember about the loved one.
